Galina Zidler has lived in Germany almost all her life, where she married a "Russian German" from Kazakhstan. Ever since the birth of their first child, the couple had been thinking about moving to Russia, and their second child only convinced them of this necessity. And February 2022 helped them make a fateful decision. But there was a chance that the move would be hindered by juvenile justice. And the Zidlers found a way out: they went on vacation to visit relatives in the Stavropol Territory, Galina and the children stayed there, and her husband returned home alone and deregistered the whole family. Formally, it turned out that no one else in the Zidler family lives in Germany. At this time, Galina was processing documents for residence in Russia and was even able to send her children to kindergarten. In December, Galina and the children returned to Germany with a residence permit in Russia - only to pack their things and finally move. In March, they crossed the Estonian-Russian border by car and never returned to Germany. “At that moment I cried with joy,” Galina Zinger shared the story of her move with journalist Alexey Stefanov.
