L'Autre c'est moi is the third solo show by comedian Gad Elmaleh, performed for the first time in 2005. In this show, the comedian focuses his show on "the blond", the perfect man who has no trouble overcoming the hazards of life. He will put this character in different situations such as skiing or getting drunk (drunkenness). Gad Elmaleh is performing for the first time in a stand-up, while his two previous shows were divided into sketches where he played a new character each time. Gad Elmaleh focuses mainly on the somato-psychic compensations of everyday life, daily automatisms, which we never take the time to analyze. He criticizes, affirms, contradicts and makes puns. The influence of the American comedian Jerry Seinfeld is important, in the form, but also in the content (the airport sketch, for example). This show was protected against warez for a long time, and was not released on DVD when it was released, which may have protected it from piracy in the months following the live show. The DVD was recorded during a performance at the Bourse du Travail in Lyon.
