In this first episode, I remove the original carburetor and discover the hard way that the 2x1 manifold needs some minor adjustments. Remember to: Increase the size of the studs, moving them slightly away from the block. Grind the longest guides on the manifold to half their size - these are the guides for the inner studs. Grind as close to the circumference of the pipe as possible to make room for the nut to turn. Use the spacer between the carburetor and the manifold to place the throttle cable in a more favorable position. If you intend to replace the original carburetor, watch the entire sequence of videos so you don't get as nervous as I did due to lack of attention to the information already available in the community.
