The first chapter on sum formulas and interest calculations continues with the Gauss sum formula named after Carl Friedrich Gauss. After we have looked at the formula and internalized it, we move on to a variant for the sum of natural numbers that are inserted into a straight line equation. Finally, an application example is calculated. For the second part of the task, we need middle and high school mathematics such as the pq formula and properties of quadratic functions (parabolas).
