When Rojas-Estapé began studying medicine, she saw that the emotional aspect was always missing in illnesses: “There are physical symptoms that have to do with emotions, but where was the core? Where did the mind and body meet?” For the expert, uniting the mind and the body and understanding that sometimes what we think determines us, that this thought leads to an emotion, and that emotion has its impact on the body, will allow us to dismantle moments of sustained stress. “Connecting mind and body and knowing that at that point there is this brutal symbiosis, where the psyche, soul and body come together, all in one in a conscious way, opens up a fascinating world for us.” Marian Rojas-Estapé is a psychiatrist with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra, and combines her work at the Spanish Institute of Psychiatric Research with her work as a collaborator at various universities and cooperation projects. She is also the author of 'How to Make Good Things Happen to You' and 'Find Your Vitamin Person', works in which she addresses the keys to managing stress, emotions and relationships in a healthy way. Since 2007 she has given lectures around the world on education, emotional management, stress and social networks. Currently, she also dedicates part of her time to 'Ilussio', a personal project on motivation and well-being in organizations. #Let'sLearnTogether
