On the first Advent, the traditional Santa Claus trips started again. The first trip was a nostalgic train trip with the express steam locomotive 012 104-6 from Braunschweig to the trade fair city of Leipzig. Gleisglück also offered city tours around Leipzig on the first Saturday of Advent with the 52 8079 and the E77.10. On the first Advent, the Leipzig Plagwitz Railway Museum also drove to Zeitz with the club's own 52 8154. All three trips were taken on a snowy first weekend of Advent.
