KOMPAS.TV - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has officially ended its cooperation contract with Shin Tae-yong, the coach of the Indonesian National Team. This decision was announced directly by the General Chairperson of PSSI, Erick Thohir, on Monday (6/1/2025). Member of the PSSI Executive Committee (Exco), Arya Sinulingga, explained that this decision was taken through various strategic considerations for the good of Indonesian football. "This decision must be fought for for the sake of the red and white. Hopefully during Mr. Erick's period there will be nothing negative," said Arya in his statement to reporters on Tuesday (7/1/2025). Arya also appreciated the steps and processes led by Erick Thohir during his tenure, while hoping that the new coach can bring the Indonesian National Team to a higher level. (UPLOAD: AKBAR)
