#permaculture #recipe #cake My dears, ever since I got this recipe from my mother, I've been baking this cake all the time. It's hard to even call it a cake, because it's basically fruit covered in a thin layer of dough. Here's the recipe... Ingredients: 50g potato flour, 200g wheat flour, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 1 egg yolk, 150g sugar (I used 70g sugar), 150g butter or baking margarine, 500g fresh or frozen fruit, a few drops of almond flavoring. Preparation: sift the flour into a bowl, add baking powder, sugar and mix. Add the egg yolk, butter and almond flavoring. Carefully knead the dough as if you were making crumble. Put ¾ of the dough on the bottom of the dish in which you will bake the cake. Pour the fruit on top. Cover the fruit with the remaining dough, simply sprinkle it over it. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Baking time depends on the amount of fruit and whether it is fresh or frozen.
