The Front Palace or the Front Palace is located in Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. It is the residence of the Front Palace or the Front Palace. Somdet Phra Bowonratchao Maha Sura Singhanat, who was the first Prince of the Rattanakosin period, ordered its construction, which began at the same time as the Grand Palace in 1782. The construction of this palace used the area from the north of Wat Salak (now Wat Mahathat Yuwaratrangsarit Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan) up to the old city moat. A part of the land to the north of Wat Salak was also converted into the Front Palace area. The original area of ​​the Front Palace was very large, but now part of it has been converted into Sanam Luang and roads.
