Before the timetable change. With the timetable change in spring 2020, I decided to ride the longest distance train in Japan, "Azusa 3", before it departs from Shinjuku. I have included photos of the coupling and uncoupling work at Matsumoto Station taken on another day. The weather was good, so you can see Mt. Fuji from high up on the Chuo Rapid Line. The clicking sound is the sound of someone typing on a PC keyboard in a nearby seat. It may be a little annoying. All seats are reserved, but it is quite crowded. Among the people boarding from Chiba, Funabashi, and Kinshicho, there were a few businessmen and students in uniform. Many people boarding from Sobu Line stations get off at Shinjuku, Tachikawa, and Hachioji, but there were also businessmen who rode for a long time from the Sobu Line to the Oito Line, including those who boarded the Oito Line to Hotaka. There were also a few train fans who, like me, were planning to ride the last train.
