On October 21, 2023, the Franconian Museum Railway Association drove from Fürth via Nuremberg, Bayreuth, Hof and Gera to Leipzig-Plagwitz to the Bayerischer Bahnhof Railway Museum. The destination of the trip was the Leipzig Railway Days at the EMBB. The Nuremberg train stayed in Leipzig overnight. On October 22, the train returned to Nuremberg on almost the same route, but in a different video. The locomotive was the association's own 52 8195-1. It first went to Hof on time. There, however, the water intake was delayed. Thanks to the lack of stations or block signals between Mehltheuer and Zeulenroda unt Bf, the onward journey was delayed by a total of around 100 minutes. At the same time, 50 3616-5 (from Schwarzenberg to Altenburg) and 50 3648-8 (from Chemnitz to Schwarzenberg) were still on the road. We also documented the return journey of the 3616 before heading home.
