To provide an insight into doctoral studies at the University of Latvia, to reveal the nuances of the higher level of studies and to encourage master's graduates to continue the educational process, an online discussion “From Mg. to Dr. Doctoral Studies at a Closer Look” was held at the University of Latvia. The event was attended by UL Rector Professor Indriķis Muižnieks, UL Vice-Dean Professor Zanda Rubene, UL Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Art Professor Andrejs Ērglis, UL Faculty of Medicine PhD student Elza Lāma and UL Faculty of Biology PhD student Zane Lukstiņa. The event was moderated by journalist Artis Ozoliņš. Admission to UL doctoral study programs will take place from 22 to 31 August.
