The quest for meaning, the search for the Absolute, led Father Joseph-Marie, Jacques Verlinde at the time, to take the 'big plunge' into the Great Whole. Initiated into Eastern ascetic practices - yoga, transcendental mediation - it was in India that he delved deeper into the religious tradition of Hinduism and Buddhism. Subsequently taken into esoteric-occult practices, he recounts his experience in this film and confronts it with the truth of the One who came to seek him out at the ends of the world: Christ. A priest of Belgian origin, a doctor of philosophy and theology, he is today prior of the monastic community of the Family of Saint Joseph, in France. It is in the light of his lived experience that Father Joseph-Marie Verlinde answers fundamental questions for our current societies. It warns and enlightens with great respect, the "seekers of meaning" who engage on the paths of the East... and those of esoteric-occult practices.
