Trieste and its grace. The second episode of the season dedicated to #FVG is all about culture and, as always, everything started by chance from encounters on the street or in cafés, like the #CaffèSanMarco. Here I came across the readings of the local Esperanto association and listened to the words of Umberto Saba read by an adopted Triestine of German origins. 'Love at first sight', she told me when I asked her why 34 years ago she had chosen to move right here, to the city that, as a friend of hers told me, is not afraid of the encounter between different cultures. 'All eyes are the same', the owner of a coffee roasting shop near the port confessed to me from behind her counter that in many years of business has seen thousands of customers pass in front of her. Yet she says she doesn't know where 'the bad eye' is hidden. I have let myself get used to the dedication and hospitality of these people.
