The customer wanted a walk-in shower with a two-meter-high and two-meter-long free-standing shower partition made of metal profiles. This should only be attached to the outside wall and it should offer a niche on the outside for an integrated mirror cabinet and a large sink should be installed. In order to get sufficient stability in the wall without having to create another attachment point, I added a 45-degree corner and chose a substructure made of double posts. I also had planking on both sides with OSB boards and plasterboard. Was my planning correct and will I get enough stability in my shower partition of this length? Just see for yourself.
