FREEDOM ON WHEELS: Luxury caravan made in Germany WELT Documentation When camping becomes a luxury. Motorhome manufacturers are in a golden age. The demand for holiday homes on wheels is higher than ever. Luxurious homes of the upper class are built in the factory of one of the largest motorhome manufacturers in Europe. The elaborately produced vehicles cost up to 150,000 euros. The fully integrated motorhomes have up to six beds, a luxury living area and a bathroom with separate shower and toilet. Technical refinements such as a retractable TV in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen with three burners and a fridge-freezer complete the equipment. More than a hundred metres of cables have to be laid, furniture has to be fitted down to the centimetre and the electrical and gas installations have to be installed with the utmost attention to detail. The production effort is high and leaves no room for error. The workers are working at full speed and the luxury caravans are getting bigger, better and more magnificent. #caravan #german #weltdocumentation
