After a short break, there is another video on pronunciation, namely on the formation of the vowels a, o, u, e, i and the umlauts ä, ö, ü. I will explain the most important basics and show you various exercises. Put simply, we differentiate between short and open vowels and long and closed vowels. How far is the jaw open? What do the lips do? Where is the tongue? Is the vowel stretched or not? To make it as easy as possible for you, I have omitted certain details in the video. We will therefore concentrate on the most important differences that you really need to pronounce the vowels.
