The guest of the latest episode of Let's Talk Business is the manager of Mercedes Benz Pannónska Július Šabo. How do you remember the times 30 years ago, when Mercedes Benz came to Slovakia, and what is the current state of the Slovak market? According to Šab, 100,000 cars are sold in Slovakia per year, of which Mercedes makes approximately 2.5 percent, or 2,500 passenger Mercedes cars per year. How did the pandemic and the war in Ukraine affect the automotive sector in Slovakia? "Few people know that Slovakia is a significant supplier of electrical equipment for Mercedes. So there the penalty was smaller, where it hit us is that in Ukraine, Mercedes produced luxury leather. So the most luxurious materials for vehicles are a bit limited." In the interview, Šabo also commented on the delivery times, which have been significantly limited in recent months. "Three months ago I would have told you that I didn't know what would happen. Currently, it is difficult to serve those who want a car immediately, because the stock of vehicles has completely disappeared. You usually see in dealerships in Slovakia that they have nothing to display," says Šabo, adding that Mercedes is able to deliver a new, configured car by the end of the year. Who is a Mercedes customer, how do they perceive Mercedes' move to switch to electric motors by 2030, and what is the future of electromobility in Slovakia? You will learn all this and much more if you do not miss the latest interview with Adam Šipoš. #LetsTalkBusiness #Interview #MercedesBenz ???? Thanks for subscribing! ????
