Despite making up 28% of the general population, black women make up only 7% of the number of researchers in Brazil. These numbers, despite knowing that they need to change, are causing little movement in the current market. It is in search of changing the current scenario of Brazilian science that Gabryele Moreira arrives on the stage of TEDxBeloHorizonte. Gabryele Moreira has a Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics from the University of Sergipe, a Master's degree in Science in the Nuclear Technology Program at USP, a scholarship holder of the Marie Curie Scholarship Program of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and a collaborator at Women in Nuclear Brazil (WiN Brasil). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
