Max Bachmann, the foster father of little Elisabeth, returns to Kaltenthal to pick up the child of the deceased Barbara. When the two finally think they are standing on the treasure, they are interrupted by Sister Hanna. Wöller is now sure that he has found the treasure. But in order to recover it, he must first buy the monastery back. He claims that his idea of ​​building an open-air stage on the monastery grounds and organizing the Kaltenthal Festival Days has been met with great enthusiasm.
