What's with the oscilloscope? In this review, I talked about the FNIRSI FNB48P USB tester. This is an updated version of the budget, but at the same time, functional and highly accurate FNB48 tester. I have already done a detailed review of it, in which I talked about all the functions and intricacies of using the tester. I strongly recommend watching it first and then returning to this review, since I do not plan to repeat myself, because the testers are absolutely no different in functionality and characteristics. In this video, I paid attention to the differences between these two tester models and made some measurements and tests. The FNIRSI FNB48P USB tester comes in an original presentable box. It looks very solid. The kit includes only the tester. The first obvious difference is that the tester has changed significantly. Now it has a stylish, finished look. The main part of the tester body is made of aluminum, and these sidewalls are made of plastic. The display here is the same as in the FNB48 version. It is color with a diagonal of 1.77 inches. A transport film is applied. The dimensions of the tester are 77x38.6x14 mm, and it weighs almost 38 grams. On the left is a 5-pin USB A plug version 2.0, and on the right is a connector with the same interface. I checked - it really is USB2.0. The microUSB connector on the top is used to connect to a computer and to provide external power to the tester. On the bottom left is the USB Type-C input connector, and on the right is the output connector. It has a USB3.1 Gen2 data transfer interface. The microUSB input connector is installed in the center at the bottom. The Power Delivery switch is on the right. The technical characteristics of the FNIRSI FNB48P USB tester are the same as the FNB48: • Voltage measurement range: 4-24 V; • Current measurement range: 0-6.5 A; • Power measurement range: 0-156 W; • Voltage measurement resolution: 0.00001 Volts (10 μV); • Current measurement resolution: 0.00001 Amperes (10 μA); • Voltage measurement error: ±(0.2‰ + 2); • Current measurement error: ±(0.5‰ + 2). The voltage measurement accuracy of all testers is amazing. Up to one volt, the FNB48P tester overestimated the readings by 2-3 mV, the FNB48 underestimated them by 1 mV, and the CT3 was more accurate than all. At a voltage of more than 1 volt, the readings of the FNIRSI testers differed from the Bryman readings by an average of 0.05%, and the CT3 tester - by 0.02%. This is a very high measurement accuracy. It is stated that the FNIRSI FNB48P USB tester can operate at a voltage of 3.8 volts without connecting an external power supply. The FNB48 tester turns off at a voltage below 3.72 volts, and the FNB48P tester - at a voltage below 3.69 volts. The FNB48P tester itself with maximum screen brightness consumes from 170 to 210 mW depending on the supply voltage. The biggest functional difference between these testers is the operation of oscilloscopes. 00:00 Introduction.
