About :

In October 2021, Jesco Peschutter and Sebastian Boch from Ferienhäuser Boch will once again set off fishing in Norway. The two passionate sea anglers want to catch some great fish off the island of Frøya, or more precisely off the tranquil islet of Uttian. The fishing area for beginners and experienced Norway travelers, which is not far from the island of Hitra, which is best known for anglers, is said to be good for big ling, large pollock, strong coalfish, mackerel, cod, herring, tusk and many other sea fish. A lot of fish to get bites with every cast. After traveling from Kiel to Oslo with the Color Line ferry and a stop at the largest moose in the world, the two reach the exciting area near Trondheim with the fantastic accommodations in central Norway to create a cool fishing video for Anglerboard TV and you. Even in bad weather, you can hide between the skerries and islets in the wind and still fish for a wide variety of fish species on your fishing holiday. After the fishing tackle and the 21-foot boat with 100 HP engine and depth sounder, GPS and chart plotter are ready, Jesco and Sebastian set off to sea. On the first day of fishing, it is very windy and the two fish for pollock and cod between the islands with rubber fish. They see the first live bites and bent rods at the hotspots. With the strong drift, even smaller fish feel huge. With light fishing equipment, pollock and cod fishing is really fun on a holiday in Norway. One day, Jesco and Sebastian marvel at huge tuna on Frøya, which a local fisherman has landed with his quota. These exceptional fish weigh between 200 and 300 kilos. Who knows, maybe in a few years' time, targeted tuna fishing will even be possible in Norway. Afterwards, they go back to fishing for pollock at a new spot. On one mountain, strong 70s pollock bites on pilkers. The weather is finally getting better and Jesco and Sebastian can go out fishing again. It's time to go fishing for ling, but first they go after bait fish for natural bait fishing. Mackerel and small pollock are quickly caught with a herring paternoster. When fishing for bait fish, smaller cod are also often caught. And then they reach the ling spot. Jesco immediately catches a nice fish using a piece of mackerel's tail as natural bait in deep water. Sebastian also brings a good ling over a meter long into the boat on the underwater mountain. And immediately afterwards there is a live bite for Jesco, who is again fighting and catches a great ling on fish scraps. With hardly any drift, only a little lead is enough to bring the ling leader to the bottom. Sebastian's rig is barely back on the seabed when the next bite comes. Large baits are supposed to keep the sharks away. This time two ling come to the surface while deep sea fishing. Jesco also catches a fat ling while fishing for ling in the depths. Jesco lowers a pilker with a rubber mackerel to a 19-meter mountain and two very large mackerel bite. One day, Jesco and Sebastian are out with a local fisherman and want to catch redfish. But the fisherman catches a nice pollock on a pilker. Jesco also catches a pollock for the kitchen while fishing in the open water on fish scraps on a long redfish leader. Then a few porpoises appear next to the aluminum boat. At the end, everyone fishes for pollock off a small island near Froya. Small, slim rubber fish on a 20-gram jig head are presented close to the surface. There are live bites all the time when fishing for pollock. Almost every cast with the spinning rod results in a bite. Six wonderful days of fishing in October on Frøya are unfortunately over far too quickly. Great fish were caught such as cod, mackerel and herring as well as ling and coalfish. The highlights of this fishing trip to Norway were pollock fishing in the shallows and ling fishing in the deeps. Both anglers are sure that they will return to this fishing area. After all, ling fishing in Norway off Hitra and Frøya in the fjord and sea is great and the fish that take the bait are much bigger than on this trip. Halibut and hake are also on the target fish list for the next fishing trip to Uttian: Petri! #Fishing #Norway #Frøya You can find this area and many other great destinations for your Norway vacation at Ferienhäuser Boch at https://www.fehwb.de/ Music: https://www.bensound.com Camera: Jesco Peschutter & Sebastian Boch Film editing: Kristina Reifschneider FOLLOW US: ANGLERBOARD Homepage: https://www.anglerboard.de/ Facebook: / anglerboard Instagram: / anglerboard RUTE & ROLLE Homepage: https://ruteundrolle.de/ Facebook: / ruteundrolle Instagram: / ruteundrolle
