I checked the first ice of 2024-2025 for strength, made a series of holes in the hope of catching a predatory fish. For the first time I took an underwater camera on a winter fishing trip, it was very interesting to plunge into the underwater world of this taiga lake with dark peat water. In the morning, the perch was capricious, it seemed that there were no fish in the lake. Several inexpressive bites and the beginning was made. I lowered the underwater camera, studied the structure of the bottom, it was curious how the winter spoon plays under the hole and even managed to see a fish on the monitor that actively attacked the bait. At lunchtime, I decided to move to the other side of the lake in search of active fish, made several holes in the most promising places and began to successfully catch perch. With each hole the fish size was bigger, bites were powerful, I didn't expect that. I found an interesting bottom relief, picked up the wiring, lively bites in hand, pleased the fisherman. The daylight is short, at sunset I found my golden hole with hungry fish. Successful fishing 2024 from the ice on November 17 with a spoon on one of the small taiga lakes of Karelia.
