In “Estadão Analisa” this Wednesday, the 18th, Carlos Andreazza talks about the approval, by the Chamber of Deputies, of the basic text of the first bill of the spending cut package submitted by the Lula government to Congress. The complementary bill reported by deputy Átila Lira (PP-PI) creates “reinforcements” to the fiscal framework, foreseeing the triggering of new triggers for freezing spending in case of worsening of the public accounts, in addition to allowing the government to block up to 15% of the parliamentary amendments. With 318 votes in favor (257 were necessary) and 149 votes against. The deputies rejected three highlights (suggested changes to the main text) and left three others to be analyzed this Wednesday, the 18th. Once the vote is concluded, the text will go to the Federal Senate for analysis. Entities consulted by Estadão, however, consider that the letter violates the STF's decision. The document is signed by the leaders of the PSDB, Adolfo Viana (BA); of the PSD, Antônio Brito (BA); of the PDT, Afonso Motta (RS); of the Citizenship, Alex Manente (SP); of the PL, Altineu Cortes; of the Solidarity, Áureo Ribeiro (RJ); of the PP, Dr. Luizinho (RJ); of the Union Brazil, Elmar Nascimento (BA); of the PRD, Fred Costa (MG); of the PSB, Gervásio Maia (PB); of the Republicans, Hugo Motta (PB); of the MDB, Isnaldo Bulhões (AL); of the PV, Luciano Amaral (AL); of the Avante, Luís Tibé (MG); of Podemos, Romero Rodrigues (PB); and of the PT, Odair Cunha (MG).
