For almost three years, filmmaker Erik Pauser has followed the seasons and inhabitants of the Finnish forest in Värmland. He has had Birgitta Elfström from the Värmlands Museum to help him. The film FINNSKOGEN - a film about people and places in northern Värmland is part of the project The Road to World Heritage, where the Värmland Museum is one of several actors working to get the Finnish Forest on UNESCO's World Heritage list. The film wants to show the living Finnish forest, how the old environments and stories are part of the present, and about people's relationship to these places and stories. Length: about an hour.
