We drive the beautiful road from Ivalo to Inari along the huge Lake Inari with its many bays and islands. We visit a bear cave. The boreal coniferous forest, in which huge boulders are scattered, is impressive. A very beautiful hike near Inari is a path through the forest past many bodies of water to an old wooden church in the wilderness, the Pielpajärvi Church. A visit to the Siida Sami Museum is a must. Our pictures give only a small insight into the museum's diversity about Lapland, its indigenous people, its nature and landscapes. Every night we park our camper van in well-known and unknown parking spaces in Inari and on the road from Inari to the border town of Karigasniemi. From Karigasniemi to Utsojoki, a road leads on the Finnish and Norwegian sides through the beautiful river valley of the Anarjohki, which forms the border between the two countries.
