I am Hiekyoung. As a coach and mentor, I support the self-employed, entrepreneurs and managers with coaching, retreats and online group programs to reverse their worst habit - always being on the outside - and to get used to being completely with themselves, step by step. I worked as a dancer and choreographer on stage for more than 20 years, and my main focus was improvisation. In order to create a dance piece on stage without pre-defined steps from the present moment and to remain authentic, I had to learn to leave my comfort zone and free myself from my comfortable identity, which consisted of familiar movement patterns and tricks that I knew would be well received by the audience. For a long time, I thought intensively about how I could achieve the state of inner freedom on stage, in which I felt so alive and present in the here and now that creativity expressed itself through me. And I increasingly realized that there is no difference between the stage and everyday life, because life is improvisation. Just as on the stage, there is the challenge of overcoming fears and mental blocks in life. In order to understand the connections between body, mind and emotions and to bring them into harmony, I spent over 20 years studying psychology, spirituality, physiology and movement science. To do this, I have intensively studied holistic methods and techniques such as Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique, Body Mind Centering, and The Work of Byron Katie. From my experiences and insights, I have developed a structured path that helps people to free themselves internally and experience true self-confidence that does not depend on external confirmation. With my True You Habits programs, I support people with personal and professional challenges in not only experiencing being with themselves every now and then, but in cultivating it in their everyday lives.
