The problem is when these emotional shortcomings become constant and this sense of emptiness becomes chronic in us. Affective voids, often also called emotional voids, are characterized by a feeling of lack, loneliness, inadequacy. When we experience emotional voids we feel sad and disconsolate even if we often do not realize where that same feeling comes from. In some cases we feel emotional void following specific events such as bereavement or separation. In these cases it is generally a matter of letting time pass to resolve that feeling of emptiness. More complex is the case in which the emotional voids we perceive are recurrent and have now sunk into our memory. In these cases the roots of the void must be sought in our history, in what has happened in the past. We human beings change based on the experiences we have every day. What we experience from the first days of life is structured in us, becoming our habitual state. If we have experienced situations of loneliness, neglect or abandonment since we were children, it is normal for experiences of this kind to have structured themselves in us. A bereavement, complex family events, such as a major financial crisis or a trauma, are all events that can have generated a family climate characterized by a sense of little contact and loneliness. Being born and growing up in such a climate, it is normal to structure a feeling of emptiness. Life trajectories can be very different, as can the causes that led to the establishment of this feeling of emotional emptiness. What matters most is first of all to become aware of one's own feelings and, secondly, to reconstruct the history of how the emotional emptiness was structured within us. Understanding this, we will be able to work on this feeling by choosing to put specific actions that can counteract this feeling and fill the emotional emptiness. Here you can learn more about how our body works and how the situations we experience lead us to be what we are: • The incredible human body - Enrico Gamba To learn more and get to know my work visit the website https://www.enricogamba.org Subscribe to the channel ???? https://goo.gl/SRXBfU Subscribe to the mailing list ???? http://eepurl.com/dwvylT Follow me on instagram ???? / dr.enrico.gamba #psychology #personalgrowth
