About :

Using a 6 m wide Güstrower Cultan injector, contractor Andreas Imlauer injects a microbiological plant additive into the turf to combat grubs. He uses a Case IH JX 1100 U with Soucy Tracks crawler tracks as the carrier vehicle. This is the only option in mountainous areas, as tillage like in the lowlands would be unthinkable on areas that are at risk of erosion. Grubs are the larvae of cockchafers and June beetles. In many places, these small creatures have become a major problem: they eat away at the roots of the turf. The meadow turns brown and dies. Farmers have no feed for their animals and have to rehabilitate their land at great expense. All hopes are now focused on Artis Pro: a fungus that is injected into the soil, attacks the grubs and kills them. Contractor Andreas Imlauer from Maria Alm offers this method to farmers on slopes.
