On Wednesday 13 November, the Lower House debated the riots in Amsterdam on 7 November, which focused on violence against supporters of the Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv. PVV leader Geert Wilders opened the debate with sharp condemnations and spoke of a 'hunt for Jews'. He called for tough measures against anti-Semitism, such as confiscating the passports of perpetrators with dual nationality and tackling calls for violence in chat groups.
