The Fiat Palio was launched in 1996, designed to replace the original Fiat Uno. It was the Volkswagen Gol's main competitor for years, and like it, it sold like hotcakes for many years. The Palio G2 was launched in 2000. Its appearance is an evolution of the original model, but with more mature and modern lines. At the time, people said it was similar to the Gol G3, but I disagree. The model has a suspension that seeks comfort, so much so that stability is not its strong point. The finish is very good for a popular car, especially when compared to a Chevrolet Celta or Gol G4. Fiat saved money but doesn't want to rub it in your face that you bought an extremely cheap car - after all, it had the Mille for that. The negative point is its performance, very poor even for a 1.0 car and the situation gets worse with the air conditioning on. In the city, the lack of performance is even better, but on the highway you need to be careful when overtaking.
