The Fiat Linea came as a new attempt by the Italian company to enter the competitive mid-size sedan market. I say competitive because up until about 5 years ago this segment really was, nowadays it is getting smaller and smaller since people are giving preference to SUVs, cars that are larger, safer and also more fuel-efficient. But going back to the Linea, at the time it had strong competitors with the Ford Focus sedan, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Nissan Sentra, VW Jetta, Kia Cerato and some others.
