There are various reasons why the operator of a biogas plant might want to open a fermenter and empty it completely: wear or damage to agitators, the removal of sediment layers, problems with the heating or checking the container materials. With the Capgeo suction dredger from Cappellotto, the Hans Hölzl company from Schonstett has the ideal tool for emptying and cleaning biogas plants. Once the vehicle has been brought into working position, the fermenter can be vacuumed from there and, thanks to the rotating structure, the vacuumed material can be loaded onto the tank. It is not necessary to move the vehicle. With a mini wheel loader in the fermenter, sediment is pushed to the suction opening of the suction dredger. This enables the fermenter to be cleaned quickly and efficiently.
