As we approach the Nectar Flow / Honey season, the first step of the bee reproduction process was the layering process. However; layering alone is not enough to reach a population of 80-100 thousand bees and a population of 50-60 thousand field bees when the flow period is entered. For this, we, beekeepers, should make every possible and rational effort to increase the Queen Bee to the highest daily brood rate in the last 1 month in the hives and to protect the brood that is laid. The method I show in this video is the method that I personally apply and have been successful in. These are the conditions of the Central Anatolia Region. In coastal areas, it may be more flexible due to the heat. These exchange processes continue until the queen bee grid is laid and at that point it ends and reverses.
