????The Thursday of the Estella festivities begins with the last diaries and the cattle run. At 11am, six enormous figures made of papier-mâché and wood leave the town hall gate and parade through the streets of the city. Upon returning to the starting point, they are joined by the four hundred-year-old figures from 1905, which are already lining up on Calle Mayor. The entire group marches through the streets to Plaza San Juan, where the parade's farewell takes place as every year. The ten giants, to the sound of the bagpipes, the tambourine and the band, dance 'El Huevo', 'El Pajarico' or the 'Baile de la Era' among others, a historic milestone in its entirety. Congratulations to the Comparsa de Gigantes y Cabezudos de Estella-Lizarra, to the Unión Musical Estellesa and to the Ibai Ega dance group for the event. ????????
