Every year in Cesio Maggiore (Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park) on the evening of August 17, the inhabitants of the Sant'Agapito Valley climb to the slopes of Mount Palmar to light up four large letters, the initials of “Viva Sant'Agapito Martire” and a cross. The short film recalls the ancient tradition of the Sant'Agapito lights and the memory of those who have contributed to keeping it alive. It is the men and women who make the lands alive and dear, the places speak to us through the men and women who live there, through the memories of those who have lived there. This short film was born from the love for this land, from the desire to remember its faces, gestures and places. Written and directed by Teddy Soppelsa Filming and editing by Roberto De Pellegrin Narrator by Giancarlo Dal Mut Music by Valter Feltrin Produced by the Sant'Agapito Committee in 2021 Quotes: in the opening credits: Fredo Valla; in speech: Pierfranco Bruni from Archaeology Demo-ethno-anthropology Mibact and Vito Teti from Il Paese Interiore.
