Ján, an experienced lumberjack and hard worker, comes with his crew to the Black Váh to harvest wood in the quiet forests. But the place is not as deserted as it seems. The locals whisper about fairies who guard their waters - beautiful but deadly creatures who do not tolerate human presence. Ján and his men consider these stories to be superstitions, until strange things start happening. At night, they hear whispers carried by the wind, the trees seem to move, and silhouettes appear on the surface of the river, luring them closer. One by one, they disappear, as if the water has swallowed them. Ján must uncover the secret of the Black Váh and face an ancient curse if he is to have any hope of escape. But is it too late? Fairies never forgive...
