Without wasting Piotr's precious time, straight to the point, we asked the host of the episode to indicate the causes of Porsche engine failures. We didn't think the story would be so long! It started with egg-shaped cylinders and rings that can't handle the distribution of oil in the engine. Then there was the metal alloys from which German engines are made, the abrasive bearings and crankshafts (where do we know that from!), factory tolerances, the bead blasting of engine blocks, the gluing of mounting screws, the turning, honing and sleeves of cylinders – and even the setting of engines on devices for these operations (!), the use of new and used parts in engine rebuilding… Showing us subsequent engines before and after regeneration, Piotr spoke eagerly and extensively about the technical aspects of these designs. He threw out names, dimensions, pulled out more devices – also of his own production! – proving time and again how precise and responsible this work is! We asked about the most failure-prone models, mileages and years that can generate problems, about oil intervals or tuning Porsche engines. Because why not!
