In this article I will show you how we changed the look of our plinth. The house we are renovating is a 30-year-old house and unfortunately the plaster has already started to fall off due to capillary water absorption. We also insulated the foundations, made waterproofing, and additionally insulated the wall with 5 cm of polystyrene. Then we embedded the mesh, rubbed it twice with glue and started making the facade using the Lakma system. You can find more information here: https://fguardi.com.pl/panele_kwarcow... How to glue quartz panels to your facade? How to give it a modern look using this facade cladding? Step 1. Prime your facade with a dedicated primer in the color of the panel, in our case PKE-004. Step 2. Apply the glue using a notched trowel (tooth size is best from 4 mm to 6 mm) to the previously primed surface. Step 3. Glue the quartz panel, pressing it with a special roller or trowel so that the glue is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the panel. You can use regular crosses as a joint - the recommended size is about 1 cm. Step 4. Wipe off excess glue from the joint with a cloth or brush and remove glue residue from the panel. Step 5. The next day, using a dedicated varnish, protect the panel twice with a brush and a roller with short bristles. Varnishing increases resistance to algae, dirt, water penetration and mechanical damage. The material was created in cooperation with LAKMA #homebuilding #facade #styropian #house #construction #panels #quartz #quartzpanels #lakma
