A Brazilian Air Force soldier taking a flight as a passenger was startled by the Super Tucano's training maneuvers and ejected. Ejecting from an airplane is the last option a pilot should use in an emergency. This event reminded me of when I had the opportunity to fly in the A-29 Super Tucano and the T-27 Tucano, both with ejection seats. In this video, I talk a little more about this event and the experience I had on these planes.
