Paul Timrots went to visit the F1 car engineer Stephen Hartley, already known to viewers, who has taken automotive technology innovations to a new level – to the point of building mini Lamborghini supercars. At one time, Stephen's story surprised Paul and the viewers of the program quite a bit – the former F1 car engineer applied for a welder position in Kandava a couple of years ago and ended up building children's retro-style electric cars. Currently, Stephen, at the request of customers, has started his own business in Tukums out of passion – he builds half-sized copies of the original supercars, which have already been highly appreciated by collectors in the USA. Paul has the opportunity to examine the 1964 Lamborghini Miura model, which was built in Stephen's factory over a period of 2.5 years. The small car can reach 45 kilometers per hour, has a plastic body and an electric motor, but in time it is planned to also build models with a gasoline engine. We'll find out who Steven will fall for next in the season finale. SPEED TRIBE will return to viewers with new episodes in August.
