EXTREME MARATHON OSČADNICA [October 19, 2024]

While cleaning at home, I found a brochure from 2021, when I ran the Kysuce Marathon, and it dawned on me. Since I couldn't go running Garmin Súľov, I googled if there was an EM sometime now. And lo and behold. The date was set, my wife approved it and I was already registering. Early morning wake-up call at the In-Laws' and I still didn't have time. I got to the presentation, received gifts, beautiful gifts and went to get some exercise. The first about 5 km were asphalt, you could run regularly, although I didn't go for the results but to enjoy the magic of Kysuce. That's why I set a limit of 7 hours, which was actually the limit of the race. They provided refreshments in the first half, maybe every 4 km. So water everywhere plus half a cookie :) On Veľká Rača, there are amazing views, but more people than on Vaclavak. I was surprised by this, because every time I was here I was alone :D but it was always in winter and wading in the snow. Running down was already painful for my thighs. This year I am not nearly as trained as last year.... Anyway, I really enjoyed it here. Perfect goulash was served at the finish line. It was a very successful event from start to finish! I highly recommend it to everyone... If there is such a possibility and my health is fine, I will be here again next year. :) Finally, I would like to apologize for the quality of some sections in the video. I accidentally shot the video with the main sensor, which does have optical stabilization, but it is weaker than a telephoto lens. That is why some sections are really shaky.
