It is a concept that does not completely surround the exterior material but leaves open spaces between materials to create passages for water and air. This method is said to be a finishing method that has the advantage of easily getting wet when it rains, but conversely drying out quickly. Luxteel Line Panel also uses this open joint method. But we constructed it by attaching panel on panel. The panels can be connected to each other continuously, and since the fasteners are hidden inside the next panel during this process, it looks very clean from the outside. Since we can custom-make various shapes of flashing, we can finish the panels not only on the outside but also on the inside. It's not finished yet, but it looks like it'll be a fun process.
