Sales revenue was 1,758.9 billion yen. This is close to the 1,838.6 billion yen recorded in fiscal 2008, when the DS and Wii were all the rage. Operating profit was 640.6 billion yen, exceeding the 555.2 billion yen recorded in fiscal 2008, and breaking the all-time record! Nintendo is now in a state that can be said to be at its peak, and a very good trend is emerging. However, Nintendo was actually in the red until just seven years ago. In fiscal 2011, operating profit was minus 37.3 billion yen. In fiscal 2012, it was minus 36.4 billion yen.
