Welcome to the Expedition my friends, we did this Camp in Barranca do Rio on this descent that started on a Friday morning and ended on Saturday night. We left the truck and started going down the 40 km of river with many strong and dangerous rapids. Our goal was to capture a dorado, so we took artificial bait and live bait, the Famosas Tuviras. Until noon we went down several rapids and had no results and decided to stop for lunch, there was even a train passing by at lunch time and there was even a bench on the riverbank for us to sit on lol. We had lunch and continued down to where we were going to camp, we arrived in the afternoon and went down the rapids, we dropped our gear and set up camp, then we went out to fish and went up the rapids again to catch a fish, we caught it but going down in the dark was not easy. We arrived at the camp, we made that fire on the ground and started preparing dinner, it's a good thing to have a float in the camp, we made the midday meat and the Piava that I got roasted. Then we rested and the next day we woke up, had breakfast very early, dismantled camp and started descending to the marked point. We had 2 shares of Dourados but unfortunately we were unable to board any, just 1 Grumatã that I caught below and the Piava. We faced very strong rapids, I almost fell and so did Maiqui, but thank God we arrived well at the end.
