The exhibition includes works published and described in the pages of the magazine "Capital and Estate", which was published from 1913 to 1917 and addressed to the aristocratic and social public. The program of the magazine "Capital and Estate" stated: "The beautiful life is not available to everyone, but it still exists." This life was presented to readers as a kaleidoscope of balls, social events and country estates. Politicians and athletes, entrepreneurs and aristocrats, sophisticated debutantes and their status admirers, and even purebred pets looked out from the spreads of the publication. These stories organically coexisted on the pages with reviews of vernissages and reviews of exhibitions, the cover of each of the 90 issues was decorated with color reproductions of works by recognized masters of the past and modern artists. The curators of the exhibition suggest paying attention to the magazine, which usually remains in the shadow of the art publications "World of Art", "Apollo" and "Golden Fleece", but is a valuable historical source. The exhibition will feature works by famous masters - "common property", according to the editor-in-chief of the magazine Vladimir Krymov, as well as works by artists little known to the modern viewer. Artists: Viktor Shtember Nikolay Bogdanov-Belsky Isaak Brodsky Ivan Goryushkin-Sorokopudov Pyotr Kelin Georgy Yakulov Vyacheslav Bychkov Konstantin Korovin Boris Anisfeld Nikolay Becker Vitaly Tikhov Alexander Rubtsov Vasily Maksimov Nikolay Sergeev-Korobov Nikolay Kharitonov Konstantin Veshchilov Alexander Sredin Elena Kiseleva Alexander Moravov Konstantin Wroblewski Museum of Russian Impressionism.
