Today I have brought you a special exercise that I recommend to those who have vestibular complaints or balance problems. What does this mean exactly? The vestibular system is the balance-sensing organ in our inner ear, and if it is disturbed, patients can feel severe dizziness even with a simple head turn. This is what we are targeting now and trying to rehabilitate. I also recommend it to those who struggle with balance disorders, since balance itself does not only depend on this organ, so we also practice developing proprioception in it. Proprioceptors, located in our feet and joints, are responsible for the sense of balance, and they can certainly be trained too.
