At the time when criminals belonging to the organized criminal groups of Kaunas, gathered in the "Pravieniškii mafia" ran amok in the Pravieniškii correctional facility, it was not as bad as it is now in the Marijampolė correctional facility. At least this is what 33-year-old Domas Beržonskas, who has been incarcerated in several prisons, who has personally experienced what happens to convicts who disobey the "bachuras" who classify themselves as higher castes, says so. D. Beržonskas, who has decided to speak publicly about what is happening behind the closed walls of the prison, does not hide that he has received various threats, especially when he sued the state of Lithuania because his safety was not properly ensured in the Marijampole penitentiary, as a result of which he was beaten by other convicts. "And what to fear? That they will poison me or I won't see the sun again? I'm not afraid of anything anymore, although I understand that I should, because I will have to spend many more years in prison," said the man, who is currently imprisoned in the Third Sector of the Pravieniškii Correctional Facility. D. Beržonskas, who is serving a sentence for intentional murder, knows very well what happened in Pravieniškės, when the imprisoned leaders of the "Pravieniškii mafia" took over the prison - the convict, who had to obey the "wierchas of the cell", had also encountered the criminally responsible officer of the Criminal Intelligence Department at the time Evaldus Baronėnu (he died in April of this year before the outcome of the case). - I am one of the witnesses in the "Pravieniškiu mafia" case, I had an encounter with the legendary intelligence officer E. Baronėnas, because I once lived in a squad where convicts were subordinate to criminal intelligence, - D. Beržonskas began the conversation. The entire conversation is in the video, you can also read it on Delfi.lt.
