WARNING: The interview contains details on La Terra Dell'Abbastanza BadTaste.it met Fabio and Damiano D'Innocenzo, directors of the metropolitan gangster-noir La Terra Dell'Abbastanza successfully presented in the Panorama section of the 2018 Berlin Film Festival. The film tells the story of two young friends (Mirko and Manolo) struggling to enter a gang of Roman gangsters led by the shady Angelo (Luca Zingaretti). The video interview focuses on the debut of the two thirty-year-old filmmakers between inspirations (Gomorra by Matteo Garrone) and variations on the genre and/or genre cinema. We also talked about their first influences, ambitions and possible new future choices as well as the collaboration with Matteo Garrone regarding the latest work of his older colleague, Dogman, presented in Competition at the last Cannes Film Festival.
