In fact, the inclinations of the Spirit call me much further than the minimum determined by tradition. I, fearing the unknown will of God, like a snail, hide in the shell of commandments and traditions, observing which, I will surely find eternal life. By and large, this is all I seek. As soon as the threat from my unbridled passions disappears, I am completely satisfied with tradition. I see in it my salvation from the world, as my little parrot finds its deliverance in a cage from hot, uncontrollable children ready to take it apart for feathers.
